Discarded furniture and furniture skeletons become the object from which within the site a special room setting is created as a departure point to make an inverted reference.
Suitcases will contain the possible inventory and accessories to construct a room according to the object found:
bed sheets
pillows and duvet (get from jessica)
carpets
plates, cutlery
books
paper, pens
lamp (the yellow one)
records?? non-functional radio
Oxfam stuff
Utensils which are needed for construction:
2 rolls of wallpaper
glue
wood varnish
brushes
hammer nails
white paint
cordless drill and screws
maybe a trolley to transport things
On the day of the construction we should have a car available. It would make life easier.
Idea: one made object which is repetitive in the two - three sites is the mobile. Anna will make pieces to be easily transportable and incorporate text. Also the wallpaper is a recogniseable sign that the chosen sites somehow belong together.
The final outcome and the physical evidence are the two - three large colour prints to be exhibited in phase two re-conditioning.
First investigation of street sites in Saturday July 7.
